I stepped it off from the point of takeoff to where my back tire landed. 40 steps with a size eleven shoe. Maybe not accurate down to the nanometer but close enough for government work.

BTW, let off the gas in the air next time. You can hear the engine rev up when you're airborne. It puts quite a shock to the drivetrain when you land at 50 mph and your tires are doing 80.
