Hi guys.
Need your input here.
Installed a new bypass valve to replace my defective Procharger ProFlo valve.
According to me the BPV does not hold the boost the P1-SC unit gives.
Stock pulleys on unit and engine. So as per Procharger web site, maximum boost should be around 8-10 psi.

from zero to 19 sec the engine is idlingm vacuum at 17-18 hg
From 19-30 sec free revs not exceding 1500rpm, vacuum at 16
From 30-39 sec 2000 rpm, vacuum at 16
From 39-50 sec 3000 rpm, vacuum at 16
From 50-55 sec 4000 rpm, vacuum at 16
After 55 sec release of throttle, vacuum rising at 23 then getting back 17-18 hg idling

You're not going to get much movement out of the valve or even show boost on the gauge unless you put some load on the engine. Revving the engine in neutral won't load the engine.

Ah!, Ok, I did not know that.
Thanks Helomech.
So unfortunately I won't be able to see if it hold boost till next April when I bring the car out of storage.
So, from your point of view, this could be the reason I also don't see any boost on my boost guage?

Correct, you won't see boost on the gauge unless you load the engine.
