Nice car bro. Is that the stock motor you are pushing a 175 shot of nitrous in?

Nope, JE Flat top pistons, Eagle rods, 0.020" overbore, billet oil pump gears. I ran the stock motor for a year on a 100 shot, then built the forged motor. Stock motor looked fine when I took it apart. This motor has been in the car for nearly 2 years.

I did it all. I got the parts including the manifold from Manny at HPPerformance in Denton, TX. They are a dealer for Houston Performance. The only thing I got from another source was the valve spring kit and valves. When I built the engine, the only good aftermarket springs were from SHM. Expensive, but they have worked very, very well. The engine has seen 10,000 rpm accidentally without any problems.

There were very few cams available as well when I built this motor. I used a cam combination that had worked well in Manny's car with this manifold.
