Dodge is taking the ACR to trying to set lap records at many of the popular U.S. tracks, and here is a video of it's run at Miller Motorsports Park in UT.

FWIW, the ACR is roughly 5 sec faster than last years winning Grand Am GS class car:eek:

Here is it's run at Laguna Seca from a few years back

There is a reason why its not allowed in that class, its slower cars.

Grand Sport - GS

The Grand Sport (GS) class is made up of several factory sports and popular high-performance cars from around the world with minimal performance modifications, but full safety systems. Minimum weights range from 2,900 lbs. to 3,300 lbs. Engines are tuned to produce between 375 and 425 horsepower depending on the car, and the competition is further equalized in vehicle weights. Models include Porsche 997, BMW M3, Ford Mustang GT, Camaro, Dodge Challenger and Nissan 350Z. Top speed for most GS cars is 160 mph.

Its meant to go head to head with ferrari, top porsches, austins, FordGT's, ZR1's etc etc.

But you are right, it is a beast!
