ya it looks like it hit 14#'s of boost and i wonder how much they ripp you off for that kit?

According to the Hennessey website, its $42,000 for the turbo kit shown in the video. Somehow, i get the feeling its just not worth it........

From what I understand now about Hennessey, its under different management, and their kits are actually worth a damn (just arent priced any where near affordable). Its a sweet kit, and a cool vid tho.

Thats a sweet truck. I think I would buy a lightning first though.

Hmmm... maybe cause it's cheaper? :rollseyes

My second car was a Hennessey powered '01 RT/10, had the 700 SC package. Got it as a graduation package... nothing but good experiences. Always heard negative stuff about Hennessey but we had no problems. Definitely not worth the final $26k that was paid for the package. Hennessey is kinda like Abercrombie clothes (or Polo/Ralph Lauren, Eddie Bauer... etc, for you older guys... lol). You pretty much pay for the name. So there is a rip off to an extent but the job was definitely not 'shoddy' by any means. Had the car for over a year with no problems although my fuel pump did burn up (due to bad fuel).

the vid is also a few runs combined. Look when it's burning out at the car it's next to and then look at the car its next to when its running down the track. lmao

For 42K I could go buy a 04L, drop 15K into it and go run 10s
