Hey guys!! Many people have told me about the site, so I decided to join.
Anyway, I just picked up my 2003 Sonic Blue about a month ago. It's bone stock other than the K&N CAI and the Magnaflow cat-back. Going to be doing some serious mods over the years, since I plan on keeping it for life!!
It's my dream vehicle and my dream colour, and I was fortunate enough to have found it at the right time for the right price
The immediate plans (over the winter):
-Cobra Cowl hood (my personal favourite, and the stock hood is too plain IMO)
-2" rear drop
-Rear spoiler
-Fresh coat of SB on the front and back bumper (a few stone chips in the front, the truck has mostly highway miles on it, and the back bumper has a 1" spot that's peeling for some reason by the hitch)
-Removal of the tow hitch and spare tire
-Installation of my Kenwood Excelon double din touch-screen DVD player
Future plans (over the years):
-BOOST (stage x porting of SC and intake)
-Porting heads
-Stage x cams
-Lower pulley/tune
-Shift kit (valve body)
-Long tubes, off-road X, different muffler (yet to decide)
-Headlights, rims/tires
-Probably a hell of a lot more mods, but these are the only ones I have planned for now!
Looking forward to my stay on the site, and hoping to get a lot of ideas and insights on mods!
