Hey Folks,

Just installed the VMP 2.3 TVS kit, VMP 67MM TB and JLT intake.
Just flashed the system and will be running tomorrow morning to feel the new results.

I will say just idling in the driveway the idle was not steady.
When I put in the Ford resonator delete a few months back the car was also not steady at first then was fine, I'm assuming after a good run tomorrow it will be good.
After the VMP 2.3 and before the 67mm I did take a run. Amazing power!
I did notice however sometimes it felt like blower belt slip was happening...IE: PSI gauge was jumping all over in 2-3 gears and you can feel the slip...I do have the idler....any thoughts?

Ill keep you posted
heres some pics of the install if anyone is interested.

Check ALL connections. Air and electronic.

Reflash the car. No need to return to stock.

Start car... No a/c... Idle one minute.

A/c on, continue to idle one min.

A/c off.

Idle a bit, key off... Key out.. Open and close door. That was one drive cycle with pcm learning idle.

Works fastest and best with fuel 1/2-3/4 full.

Idle may be a tad high next time you start. Let it settle before driving.

Idle WILL slightly, momentarily hang a tiny bit before dropping to normal when coming to a stop, clutch in. Completely normal. Can take as much as a few days for things to completely normalize based on your driving habits.

Hey BJ,

thanks for the response.

Checked all connections and all is good.
Went through the process you recommended and after doing a morning run it is better.

The Idle still is not as stable as stock. Slightly moves now, seems to dip a bit every 10 seconds or so.
Im thinking a few days of run time will fix that, but def better then yesterday!

But when nailing second gear I did again feel the "slip" around 10psi then right after the slip it was pure 16psi power. Not sure if its belt slip or tire.....
But I did see the psi gauge drop down to 4-5psi when that happened.

Finally got the car out again and each time the idle seems better.
Might be just a learning thing. I'm running again tomorrow which will be the 3rd time with this kit. Any update on your end?

I took mine out tonight the idle is a lot better but it feels like its surging at lite throttle I wonder if I need to drive it a few more times or I need a updated tune from VMP

Drive it. Let the adaptive learning do its job for a while.

Check all your fittings.
