As we mentioned in our product announcement for the VMP Heat Exchanger we have installed it on our 2013 Shelby GT500 and done an overview of the installation process.

See for yourself just how easy it is to install!

We will be doing some testing of our new VMP Heat Exchanger at Sebring International Raceway over the weekend as well!

I guess the comparison in sizes are for the old HE, but the 2013 OEM heat exchanger is huge, in fact I don't think there is much difference in size at all between the two. The VMP unit may be an inch taller, but the OEM is .25" thicker and the width seems to be the same. So unless the core is just far superior, where are the gains in cooling to be had? Is it from the fans when you are just idling? I could see that being a benefit when you are waiting your turn at the drag strip, but out rolling around these cars pull so much air the fans may actually get in the way and reduce air flow?

Do you have flow numbers for the VMP vs the OEM 2013?
