voltage dropping

i had a 3.2 pulley on the alt and at idle it would not spin fast enough to charge, so i put the stock pulley back on. well now it doesnt charge at idle after running a while or if i turn on all accessories. soon as i idle it up to 1K rpm's it charges fine. whats going on?

My guess is your alternator may be going bad.

What specifically are the voltages at idle and +1K rpm? Do you have a DC clamp to measure current?

Idle is anywhere from 11.7- 12.5. At 1k rpm it's up to 13.5 ish

Prolly a bad voltage regulator. Swap out alternator and see what happens.

Maybe bring it to an auto parts store to test?
