Not satisfied with the over 600 horsepower that the off the shelf Vortech Si-Trim System can take your stock 2011+ 5.0L Mustang GT to? Got a built motor? Getting ready to run some major boost? Well, Vortech is ready for you! The 8-Rib Drive Upgrade allows for maximum belt traction and stability for racing and hard driving, while remaining completely street ready and daily drive friendly. Drive conversion contains all necessary hardware and precision machined spacers to go right out of the box and onto your supercharged 5.0L Mustang. OEM quality replacement alternator pulley, water pump pulley, idlers, and crank damper pulley all included.

Looks good. I wonder if they came out with this kit because too many are experiencing belt slip even on low boost. Although im sure we would here more about it here if it were an issue.

These motors love to rev and rev quick.

I am running 16 with no slip on the 6 rib @ 9.9's

Belt selection is key.

John do you all have any idea on pricing? I have couple friends with Vortech/Paxton blowers on their 5.0's.

MSRP is $695.95.

again, i'm running a 2.95 pulley without any "noticeable" belt slip.

We will be doing a dyno test session with a before and after, just to see how much the car pics up.
