Want to replace bulb in the switches for fog light, rear defrost, etc. What is the correct bulb?

The car is a 99 cobra. Switched out my instrument panel and HVAC to super whites and they are now a blue color instead of green. I'd like to make my switches for rear defrost, traction control, convertible top and fog lights the same color. I read that the switches have clear bulbs and the amber color is part of the switch. Can anyone confirm this? If the amber color is part of the switch then it sounds like a blue bulb won't work.
