I have 2005 gt that I would like to build a stroker motor for. I would like to use the Kellogg crank. It would be nice to find one of the saleen 5.0 kits. Thanks for the help. Mike

the saleen pistons have the 4032 alloy pistons instead of 2618. as long as you know what you want

I have a Saleen complete kit. BTW I am 99% sure all CP pistons are 2618 alloy. PM me if you are interested.

all the saleen/cp pistons in the s281 and extreme s302 used 4032 alloy as ordered by saleen. all other cp pistons are 2618 for this engine. the main difference in the alloys is the 4032 doesnt expand and contract very much when cold, 2618 alloy has light piston "wrap " when cold and require a full warm up before driving because the expansion rate is greater as they heat to operating temp. the 4032 doent hold as much abuse and detonation as the 2618. if the ewhp will never exceed 600 then 4032 are fine. above that ,youll want 2618
