Water-Proof Camera

I fish or hunt most weekends and am tired of taking pictures with a phone camera so I have started shopping around for a water-proof camera. I need it to be small so it fits in my fly fishing chest pack/hunting pack, easy to use, as many megapixels as possible and to have a decent battery life due to taking 2-3 day fishing/hunting trips and not being able to charge it.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help!

Definitely consider the GoPro. You can manually take pictures, or set it to take pictures at certain intervals. You then also have video capability if you desire it.
