I just finished putting an '03 Cobra T-56 with new clutch and flywheel into my car, it's not on the ground yet, but while I was putting my short throw on I checked the clutch pedal feel, and the free play was about an inch, then it grabbed for a few inches, then it just got really easy to push to the floor. I played around with the adjustable cable and firewall adjuster but nothing seemed to help much.
Anyone know what the problem might be? We spun the rear tires and when I let the clutch out they stopped, so I have to assume it's working to some degree, it just doesn't feel right. Could it just be my old stock clutch was that out of whack, or do I need to put the cable on the other quadrant hook, or did I install something wrong? Any ideas?
