While chasing down an exhaust rattle I noticed the weirdest thing. If I tap on my panhard bar it sounds like there are a bunch of beads inside it, almost like one of those rain sticks. It's the weirdest bloody thing.
Would someone be so kind as to crawl under their car and tap the panhard bar and tell me if they have a similar sound.
Thanks in advance

When I change my stock Pan hard bar, I also noticed that too. It sound like there are either bead or sand inside the stock one.

Yep all the stock PH rods have that inside of it. My 12 Boss was no exception. Seriously doubt that's the origin of you rattles tho.

Interesting. I thought it was weird. No, it's not the rattle. Only happens at 2800 - 2900 rpms, on decel, on the driver's side.

Correct, it was engineered that way to eliminate NVH.

Any component that attaches the chassis to a sprung part, is engineered specifically to absorb and eliminate NVH as much as possible. This is why there are so many "issues" with front and rear suspension pieces on the S197.
