Weird spraying sound? (No clue!)

I'm getting a strange "spraying" sound when I first drive the Cobra, but only right after I start it up. In other words, after about 2 minutes it goes away. It's not continual, and it doesn't relate to how I'm hitting the gas. It almost sounds like air leaking from the tire...

Any ideas?

Check your air pump thats located on the passenager side fender. You could be having some problems with that. It only turns on for a min or two during start up.

Nope, it's kind of gone away. Now it doesn't even do it everytime. I keep trying to get my neighbor (mechanic) to ride with me to let him hear it cause it has me baffled but both times it failed to do it.

I think I'm losing my mind.

Mine does the same thing but for the life of me I can't recall if my girlfriends does it, too! Let me know if you figure it out and I'll check out my air pump when I get home. (About a week.)
