Weird vibration on my 03 cobra

This board has been very helpful in the past, so here we go again. I'm noticing a clutch pedal vibration and noise when the car is idling in neutral with foot off the clutch.

The vibration is fairly significant, almost like someone is hitting the back of the pedal. When I put my foot on the clutch during these episodes I hear a whinning noise.

Any ideas?

Does it stop if you tap the pedal a few times?

No. Would this be caused by air in the clutch lines?

Doubt it. Sounds like a throwout or pilot bearing issue, or something to do with the actually clutch.

From the brief conversation with the service advisor, the problem was the either master or slave clutch cylinder and a bearing.
