Might be moving there next year for work, and Ive been reading the headlines latley. Glad my CCW from GA is honored, cause it seems I may need it more there.
Jacksonville is a great town. I grew up there and love it. It obviously has its bad areas like most cities do. But it seems over the last few years its gotten worse.
I still think it is a great place to live. There are plenty of nice places around there where you won't have to deal with that non sense.
Although I truly love living in the Nashville area now and I hope I never have to leave, I still miss Jacksonville.

We had 40+ shot last weekend alone. Had 36 shot in a 36 hour span the weekend before that too.

Yeah, most people living in Jax know most of those shootings happen mostly on the same side of town. Bare in mind, this was the same area where they suddenly had a flash mob of over 200 teens wrecking havoc in a Wal Mart about a year ago.
