So I took my SCT X3 handheld down to my local tuner because he was pretty sure he could still update it. As it turns out he couldn't get it to update either. He's thinking they are no longer updating for that version.

So I did a little looking and I can get a new X4 from one of my local suppliers for $289.00. If I decide to upgrade my handheld what will I need to do to load tunes on it? I have the tune files saved to my PC and I know I will need to return my car to stock tune but wondering about serial number etc.

For $100 more, you can get the nGauge. If I ever need to get another hand held, I would go the nGauge route. Lethal is/was just running a sale, $399 shipped.
