first of all, i r teh uber newb. lol, seriously. i know only the basics about car audio. please keep this in mind when explaining stuff to me. however, i have these 2 amps, one 600w 4 ch. with no adjustment, and one 125w with a LOT of adjustment. my sub is a 12 incher.

MY GOAL is to wire either of these up to get THE MOST power possible to the sub. here is the first one:

heres the second:

now for the questions....
is wiring for most power as simple as connecting 2 channels together? and does this drop the ohms in half?
i think ive seen 1 channel hooked up to a speaker that had a jumper wire between the neg and pos terminals, would this give more power/ohms?

please post a comment. any tips on how to do the wiring is what im after. thanks!! we dont have an audio forum, so i put this in here. ;-)

Use the 600w and bridge the sub over 2 channels.
meaning take the neg and pos wires of 2 channels and put them together? does this drop it to 2 ohm? would this be 600 watts? since its "rated" at 600, and allegedly puts that much out?

Most amps say 600 but that's at a certain ohm maybe 2 or 1. I loved my JL amp that was rated at 500 anywhere between 0.5-2.0 ohms if I remember correctly.
