Just finished install of my BMR stuff, along with FRPP Springs (Thanks VAN!). Only did a quick run tonight to test it out; all seemed good, no vibration or any clunking, but I did notice that under moderate acceleration I heard (but didn't feel anything) what seemed to be more pronounced exhaust note.
I assumed all NVH increase would be from driveline being amplified, and that I wouldn't get any exhaust amplification out of it.
My pinion angle is probably closer to 3 degrees than 2. The BMR tech posted on Van's thread a while back to set the angle between 1.5 and 2.5; "find the setting in this range that provides the least amount of NVH."
Would a steeper angle cause the noise (assuming it's only an issue under acceleration?). I didn't notice it when I really romped on it, but I was also paying more attention to other things.
Thoughts?
