What are you guys seeing for oil pressure?

Just bought my 2013 Super Snake with 2500 miles. Changed the oil the other day and at start up it was around 75psi after warm up around 60psi but when reved up almost at 100psi... Is this normal because 100psi seems high. I am looking at the Shelby installed oil pressure gauge on the A pillar.

Thanks
Bob

Sounds similar to what I see with my stock 2013, as measured by the Ford Racing Gauge I added to my A-pillar.

I would be concerned with 100psi.
Where are they pulling that reading?
If anything, mod motors are known for lower oil pressure, especially at idle.

I too have a SS as well and start up should be about 70-75 but after warm up should be about 45-50. Max at WOT it should go back up to about 65-70. 100 is way to high. Check your oil level, how many quarts did you add?

I also used a K&N oil filter and wondering if that might be causing g it. The car does idle around 50psi once completely warmed up

The warmed up psi is about normal and I don't know about the k&n filter but I don't think that would be a problem. I'm running all Motorcraft oil and filter 8 quarts.

It will read high like that until it warms up. Check your oil temp gauge before you rev it, if it isn't in the green, don't rev it much at all. Drive normal and let it warm up. After its in the green, check the oil pressure and it should be normal at that point.

I installed the SS gauges in my car and I have my doubts on how spot on the oil pressure gauge is. But I wouldn't worry to much as long as it's reading normal numbers at idle. Hey since there are two guys in this thread with Supersnakes I have two questions to ask since I'm installing a 3.6 KB on my car. How much PSI do you guys see under WOT or do guys know what size pulley they put on the SuperSnakes, I can't seem to find this info anywhere. And what RPM do guys shift at? I would imagine the rev limiter would be set lower with kenne bell but I'm not sure.

The factory super snake pulley is 4 inch and makes 15psi. I am going to switch mine to a 3 5/8 and than it will make 18psi.

Mine is the same 4 inch pulley that says super snake on it but I'm seeing a max psi of 17 at WOT and I'm shifting at 6200 to 6400 rpm. My shift light is set at 6200 so in that neighborhood. The dyno sheet I got from SAI say they hit 18.8 psi with 781 rwhp 690tq at 6400 rpm on a dyno jet, but I doubt those numbers very much especially since i added headers along with it and the tune has not been right since i got it back. I'm having my car dyno tuned in about 2 weeks and will be on a mustang dyno and will be a Lund tune. Knowing that mustang dyno's read lower I'm hoping for 750 whp.
