Traded my 2000 GT (electric green metallic clearcoat) with tinted windows, black reflective boss door stripes and rally stripes, and 3.73 gears for the 04 Cobra (black) last week.
Previous car to the GT was a 91 dodge stealth twin turbo with upgraded turbos, exhaust, new motor, and custom flame paint job. (did paint myself) Still have the stealth, but it will be moved out in the near future since the terminator is its equal (almost) the tt puts out around 475hp and runs low 12s. But is expensive as hell to work on and replace mechanical parts when they break. It just isn't fun anymore, the cobra is fun now and probably will continue to be fun for years to come.
Sold my 97 cobra due to marriage, (wasn't practical) went to a new 03 Silverado. Finally made a deal with the wife three years later to swap vehicles and trade the chevy in for a 2005 Ford Escape for her. I now drive a 2002 Kia Spectra....but this is the only way the wife was letting my 03' 10th anniv. Cobra into the garage.
04 Gt that ran a 13.46 with an o/r h, 4.10s, and a predator tune. Ran a 12.76 on a 100 shot ( Should have juiced it the day I consistantly ran 13.40s on the motor, may have ran a 12.20).
I had a black 2000 Mustang GT that was cursed. The car was hit 4 times while parked and had to have both of the heads replaced on it luckily under warranty. I don't miss that car one bit. Well maybe but My cobra is much more pleasing to drive and look at.
