I am going to paint my calipers but I am not sure which color combo I want to do.

1. Orange Caliper with "COBRA" in black

2. Black Caliper with "COBRA" in orange

3. other?

Thanks

I voted other: painted black. unpainted or polished letters.

I debated on doing the letters in yellow and opted to go with a black caliper ane leaving the letters unpainted. I just buffed them with fine sand paper. Looks great.

I think a black caliper with orange lettering would look good. It would be a good way to offset the color and the first thing to catch the eye wud be the lettering. Just my opinion. Good luck.

on your comp orange you really only have two choices, a perfect powdercoating to match the orange paint job, or powdercated black (gloss or flat) either way leave the cobra letters polished.

There are a few companies that actually make brake caliper paint. VHT is the most common but G2 is supposed to be good also. I used the VHT and it worked great. Its holding up nicely with no chipping, peeling, or fading.
