Quick question, what do you guys use to clean your engine bays?

I use this stuff from Lowes called Krud Kutter. Then after I let it soak for about a minuet I use my power washer to rinse it off. Stuff works great.

I only post this link so you can read about the product as I cannot post pictures right now (at work). I'm not trying to endorse anything.

Link says you cannot buy it online, but it is available on the shelf.

I'll be at that same show. I'll be parked with an OW 03 with a black roof and a 10th anniversary vert. Stop by and say hi.

As for cleaning my engine bay, I use quick detailer mostly. But my car isn't a daily and gets cleaned pretty regularly.

That is totally awesome! I didn't realize speedhut made digital widebands now. I may need to order one up. What wideband controller are you using with it?

I'm using the AEMs X series UEGO. Part number is 30-0310 if you're interested in it.

Today, I started making headway on my VW headlight switch project.

So, finally got into a position where I can work on the car and it runs. Long story short, the alternator went out in the fall and I was just mad at the car, so I made no progress.

The old relay board is gone and has been replaced with a much better setup. The old one wasn't going to cut it and I was having to make too many concessions to make it work. So, I decided to go a different way.

This modular system holds six micro relays that are 25A each. That should be plenty for all the lighting circuits. I have a friend with a laser etcher, so I decided to church up the relay holder a little bit to help myself ID each relay down the road. This was that result:

And finally, some laser etcher porn:

I should be able to have this installed and working this weekend.

You might want to look at aeroforce as they weren't that much more than a speedhut. You can also add other items to it. My single aeroforce does boost and wideband. Plus you can read pids and dtc.

What color is your car and rims. I have a variation of that on my rims.

It's black, I got them because I was going to trade for some cobras but the guy sold his car the day I was driving up to trade the wheels. An hour and a half into the trip. I may just get rid of these things
