I always thought Cervinis was pretty good.
H.O. Fibertrends fits great for sure.

The HO Fibertrends hood I used to have fit way better then this Cervinis hood. This new hood is going to require lots of sanding and cutting to get the fitment correct, so much for a quick turn around at the body shop.

After about 10 hours of adjusting, sanding, heating, pulling and cussing I finally got a decent fit of the hood to the car. It required loosening every bolt on the fenders, hood hinges and a few header panel bolts along with several shims to get everything aligned. I've owned this car since new and it's never been in an accident, I was surprised how much panel adjustment it took to align the Cervini's hood. I also sanded about an 1/8th inch off of underside front area of the hood and also along the driver side edge. Now it's time to paint this damn thing.

Ouch.
I wonder if you got a defect, or has their quality gone downhill?

Hard to say. I called their tech line and sent several pictures, but never really got much help. I didn't feel like waiting for their response, so I made it work. In the end, they might have sent another hood for me try, but I'm on a time crunch and didn't want to wait.

I had a Cervini on my foxbody coupe and it fit perfect. But that was years ago and the business may have changed by now. H.O. Fibertrends made the hoods for the 95 Cobra R and they still make them today. I'll probably pick the factory 1.5" hood up when I get the funds.

Doing some suspension work on mine. MM full length sub frames. Not the prettiest welds but Im not a welder. But I take pride in doing stuff on my own. Also reinforced torque boxes and a MM panhard bar coming next. Still gotta clean up some sharp edges, wipe the bottom down and cover it with some Por 15.

It wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. I used a disk grinder with a cutting wheel to do most of it then switched to a Dremel with a cutting wheel in the tighter spots.

Went from this, to this. And put a SVT emblem back on the deck lid. Not sure if I like it yet. Also, ditched the black Cobra emblems and installed stock style ones. Oh, and installed my MAC pro dumps... Heaven.

Also installed this SMR rear strut tower brace. I got it for a sweet deal a few years back and never got around to putting it on. It angles towards the front and runs parallel to back seats. This keeps from losing any trunk space. It doesn't bolt to the actual struts, the fenderwell just below it. I replaced the grade 5 bolts they sent with stainless ones to keep from rusting since the head is in the fenderwell.

The one thing I did notice was there is no more cracking and popping from the back end while going over transitions in the road. Also kinda feels like the rear shocks are absorbing more of the terrain than the actual body itself.

Rolled the Mach 1 rear end under the 97. Cleaned the brake calipers and greased the moving parts, finally got the rear sway bar installed properly, did the gas pedal mod.

Car looks so much nicer with the wider rear. The bearings in the original rear were so bad I was afraid to drive it. I dont really notice a difference with the 3.55s vs the stock 3.27s.

Double din install done. Next, I have a 2001 center console going in after I paint it, going to rewire the rear defroster switch and fog light switch to the radio bezel, going to add a USB port to the third spot in the radio bezel, I'm going to add a brake light bypass to the radio harness, and eventually a backup camera and some new speakers. While I was there I upgraded to LED bulbs in the cluster and HVAC controls. Anyway, here's a couple pictures including one of what I removed.
