What did your 94-95 GT run?

Just curious, i am picking one up soon, i know there not the fastest of mustangs...by far, but i just want to know what im dealing with. Thanks.

Anywhere from low 15's to mid 14's depending on the tranny/driver. I've seen a bone stock 95 run a 14.6.

what does the 1996 gt conv run since it's got a 4.6, i rode in a crown victoria and they feel faster

5.0 - 2.73, maybe 3.08 gears
4.6 - 3.27 gears

Thats what you're feeling.
94-95 GT - 215hp/285torque(maybe 275)
96-97GT - 205hp/265tq

Hard to say. They're both slow though.

My suggestion is save and get a 94-95 cobra.

With just underdrive pullies and 275 40-17 Good Years Eagle F-1s I ran a 14.2 in the 1/4 with a 2.0 60ft time. I don't have the time slip as this was a long time ago but I remember it breaking a 100mph on a 14.4 run. This is with a 5spd powershifting at 5250.

I had a K&N air filter, 1/4 tank of gas, full weight, and a hot July afternoon on my back when I ran the best of 15.5.

Since, I have upgraded to a larger cat-back and h-pipe.

Mine is a 95 coupe GT, auto w/ the 3.27 gears.
