No auto option on the 197 500's is one major reason. They tend to be underachievers given their horsepower. Could just be drivers without skill though... IDK

Yeah not having the 6r80 option sucks but nothing a TH400 can’t fix if it’s a dedicated race car. Now 13 ZR1 6spd vs 13 GT500 6spd and I will take the GT500 all day.

Same could be said for new balance wearing non driving corvette owners.
