My brother was asked by a girl to come to her house in Sept. He went a couple times, and on the third visit, she told him she was seeing someone, and had decided to make that relationship work. He left as soon as she told him this, and told her he wouldn't speak to or see her again, and he hasn't.
Now he finds out he's had an arrest warrant out on him since then for criminal trespass. He turned himself in and posted bail to find out what the deal was, and found out this chick signed the complaint. Can they make this stick??? How??? He has a hearing in late Feb. What should he do? Attorneys please comment. Thanks.

It's just a piece of paper. If he had no plans on making contact with her, it won't matter.

At the hearing, she will have to prove what she stated in the document, which got her the papers, was true. If not, he can sue her if he really wants to. But in all seriousness, I would just have the judge toss it out with a motion and have it marked "Unfounded" or whatever it's called in your state and be done with crazy lady....
