What does an 03 Mach 1 Auto run in the1/4?

What does an automatic Mach 1 run the 1/4 in? Mods and no mods? :coolman:
My brother is going to buy one on Thursday and says its faster than my 03 Cobra, stock to stock that is(When mine was stock)...... Hmmmmm....Just curious. I ran 13.3s at 106mph in stock form. Mine is a vert.

depending upon the gears and if the torque converter is locked(only for track use) with throttle body exhaust and a very good tune and not spinning he could get into the high twelves, if he's lucky

A stock automatic Mach 1 can run anywhere from a mid to high 13 at 100-104 in the quarter mile. The single best bolt-on he could do would be a 100 shot of nitrous, then have it tuned. That would get him deep into the 12's.

Appreciate the input.... Now I see, my bro needs gears and converter... 3600 stall is a lot for the street, btw. Good for him.. He will have a high 12 car after the bolt on crap and gears. Thanks again. FYI: I tried to steer him to a Terminator but he found the 03 Mach 1 with 28K miles, White / Blk, auto for $12K. Damn, I would buy that car for $12K. I paid $27K in 2006 for my 03 cobra vert with 17K miles. Now it has a Stegmr stage IV and 2.73 pulley, "Kooks"full exhaust, tune, CAI, T'B, Intercooler, and Fuel system. It only runs low to mid 11's. Point is, for $12K + $2K of mods, my bro can atleast be in the 12's and have fun at the track. Cool. The bolt on Mach 1 auto will be faster than my old GT in the garage. It's an auto with 4:10's, C&L upper, cai, cat-back, and chip and ran 14.1 back in the day.

3600-3800 stall is great for the street btw. I still get 15-18 miles to the gallon on the street and 23-25 on the highway. I avg about 250-280 miles per tank depending on how hard I drive around (I use the car for police duty as well in Hawaii).

I know of a bolt on auto mach with a 4k convertor that runs 12.60s.

Mine went 13.7 stock with just a K&N drop in. With DR's, cat back, predator dyno tune and C&L CAI I went 13.3. Never ran it non SC'd with the 3200 converter. Gears and a converter are good for at least 7 10ths with DR's. I would say nitrous aside gears and a converter are the best first mods for an auto mach.
