What does it take for a L to walk on a stock vette? Just curious so I can shut up my friend. Roughly how much rwhp does it take?
What does it take to take a stock Vette

what kind of vette? is it a Z06? what year? these would help. I could be as simple as a small shot of juice and an early shut down, or a TON of work and a wing and a prayer.

2002 - C5 Z06
built engine, whipple/kb 17-20 psi, full bolt ons. those have been known to run 11's stock.
Its going to take quite a bit to run with a C5 ZO6. They weigh in around 3100lbs and are geared very well. My buddies 02 Firehawk probably weighs in at around 3700lbs with him in it, and he barely pulled one with his car making 448rwhp.

In that case, Intake, Pulley and good tune(To do it safely), and hes going to lose.

Buy a corvette and and a cold air, LOL. Like everyone is saying a mid to low 12 would beat some stock vettes depending on year. Pulley,tune,weight savings and traction.
They run 12.9 -13.4 what what I've seen stock.
What kind of 98, Vert, Coupe?6spd, auto? My buddy has a 99FRC that ran well into the 12's stock. But the FRC's are lighter than the others. Your buddy doesnt sound like he knows what he is doing, you could probably beat him stock if he cant drive/drag race

Vert, auto? Throw a pulley on there and wax him.
I've beaten many of those before, and some c6's too. NOT the Z's though. Mods in my sig.
