Remember..in the new Cobra's.....do not set the stops...just make sure they are set far away from the shifter base. Our trannys have internal stops and Tremec says not to use stops.

My reason for changing out the stock shifter.
1. Stock shifter felt like a stick in cold oatmeal.....
2. After opening up the consol just for a look see at the shift I was disappointed with the mechanism I found.
3. Kind of old school of me but, I do like the Hurst shifter mostly because I have had it in all my cars over the last 30+ years.
1st impression was a gated shifting system that felt more like the Cobra should have been manufactured with....IMO :coolman:
