What Is Wrong With These Dyno #s

My friend has just got a dyno dynamics dyno in.And I just bought a 03 cobra with bassani X pipe and catback with C&L maf and cold air max power was 330rwhp and other friend cody mach1 which runs 12.80s on street tires it dyno'ed 279rwhp with the same mods plus diablo tune.Something is wrong

yes i think that you would have more over 400rwhp with that setup! was your friends mach on the money or did it dyno low as well. could be the dyno!

dyno dynamics dynos typicly put out lower numbers than a dynojet for example , they can be corrected by changing the dyno setup, but they are just numbers anyway

how does the car feel when you drive it? have you driven other cobras?

I have had the car for 2 weeks and it feels stronger than my 93 gt with heads and a 225 shot my 03 feels like beast giveit low 12s

and most mach 1 put 300-315 with his mods like I said his car runs 12.80 on street tires

It could be the brand of dyno or the ole banana in the tailpipe thing...

I see most 03-04 put 400-421 and no tunes with these mod and the car only has 25,000 miles on it

Way back when my car only had a K&n and borla cat back I made 416rwhp 390rwtq temp outside was high 70's but that should not matter your numbers should be higher :shrug:

It's the dyno...there's one here in town and they re-adjusted it to read more like a dynojet...i would say you're in the 380-390rwhp range and like others said, it's just numbers
