Posting this for a friend. We both bought 03/04 Termi's and mine has a KB, his has a Whipple. His car runs fine but when it idles it kinda sounds like it has a sound like something is touching towards the back of the blower. I don't know if its just the gears or rotros turning and this is normal or if oil level in the blower is low? We checked the oil level and it comes up about an 1/8" on the dip stick. Should there be more in it? My car oesnt make this noise, it is really smooth and all you here is the air being sucked in at idle. Also what kind of oil should he run. I have heard only oil from Whipple and some have said Castrol Syntec 5W50 is ok. Thanks in advance for the advice.
