I know I can just pull the wheel and try to measure, but it's my only car so it seems like a PIA to use the trial and error approach if someone knows. I want to retorque the axle nuts. I'm talking about the outer nut where the half shaft comes through the hub. I had the car at the dealer to check the "tink" noise once. They pulled the hub to check for metal filings and didn't find any. It also stopped making noise when I left. He just put it back on with a gun. It's making noise from both sides now so I want to retorque them and see if it makes a difference.
Also anyone know the torque spec for that nut? I thought it was arounf 250 ft. lbs. but I'm not sure.
