Lived near Milwaukee for 10 years of my life, off the top of my head -

Lakefront Brewery Tour (also has an awesome Friday night fish fry)
Miller Brewery Tour
Art Museum (even if you don't like art the building itself is awesome and you may have seen it in Transformers 3)
artmuseum_zpsed1daed5.jpg

Get dinner at Friday's restaurant at Miller Park
Booze cruise on the Milwaukee River (https://www.edelweissboats.com/ is one tour company, there are others)
Tour the Pabst Mansion
Walk along the Riverwalk
Checkout Bradford Beach
The Zoo is pretty decent
Visit establishments on Old World Third St
Basketball (college and Bucks) will startup soon
Visit the Public Market and the rest of the Third Ward
Harley Davidson restaurant and museum
Potawatomi Casino

Let me know if you have questions about any of them. As I think of other things I'll post more later.

Ah yes, that's a cool spot to get dinner. It's a spy themed restaurant that has many "trick" interior decorations. Can't really explain much more without ruining some of the fun.

I'll second the Safe House and the booze cruise on the River. Rock Bottom Brewery is a damn good restaurant to check out too. Comedy Sportz is always a good time.

All very good suggestions. I have lived in wisconsin for 9 months and have been to milwaukee a couple times. I drank copious amounts of beer.

How long have you been in madison? That is where I live too. Moved from Florida of all places.

Yup, beer drinking is the thing to do in Milwaukee or Wisconsin as a whole anyway.

I've lived in Madison for 3.5 years, I'm on the far east side. The season is over now but I try to get to Quaker Steak and Lube in Middleton for Thursday night cruise nights a few times a year, have you ever been? Fords are sorely underrepresented there so you should plan to make it at least a few times next year.

Very much so.

Then you'll get along just fine there. Water St Brewery and Milwaukee Ale House are other breweries to checkout if you are near downtown. Sprecher brewery is farther north, can't say I've ever been.

Just thought of another, the Mitchell Park domes are kinda cool if you've never been or if you have kids along. Each of the domes are a controlled atmosphere so desert and jungle plants can grow.

Sounds like some great places! This is really a random trip. I had enough points for a free Southwest ticket and just picked there knowing nothing about it.
