what type of video editing programs do you use

what programs are you guys using to make some small movies, i want to make on of my car after i get it this weekend and dont know what program to use to do video editing. i want to put some sound over it and maybe do some little effects, but not sure where to get started.

I have Pinnacle version 7. It's realy simple and streight forward. They Have a newer version out now, it should be a little over $100. It's defenatly capable for making quick movies with music, effects, etc.

Adobe premier 6.5
adobe after effects
avid

pinnacle is by far the best for beginners. the others are high end movies

I use pinnicle studio 7 too. If you want a free solution, and you have Windows XP try fooling with Windows Movie Maker. You can't beat free:thumbsup:
