What video editing program to use?

Hey guys, Ive aquired some video over winter of wheeling trips and just playing around in the snow. And Id like to make a little video with it all, Ive used the Windows movie maker before, but I was wondering if theres anything out there still easy to use, but with more features.

And the Video is in AVI format if that matters.

Also, what do you guys use for your video editing, be it a more complicated program or not.

Pinnacle Studio is a great program to learn on, very simple and easy, does amazing things. Adobe Premier is pretty advanced for beginners...if you want to go for Movie production, try Adobe After Effects or AVID which is what i use. i owned a multimedia videography business so if i can help ya, holla
