I'm still trying to learn Premiere. Between school, work, and the girlfriend I don't have any time to. Kind of sucks. I would love to be proficient with that program.
I use Vegas Movie Studio. It's the dumbed down home version of Vegas. I've tried several video editors, and let me tell you there's a world of difference between a product that's a simplified version of a professional suite and a product that was designed simple from the ground up. It's more difficult to learn, but it has a lot more features. For instance, VMS is the only video editor I've found under $100 that has more than one video track (e.g. you can overlay one video on top of another and do picture-in-picture).
