Now that "everyone" is running 11's, I don't now if this is impressive or not, But...

I went 12.036 last night at 118.11 MPH.

This is with a grand total of 3 go fast mods:
2.93 Pulley
Amazon Racing Diablo chip,
Amazon Racing AFR filter with shield.

No BS either, by that I mean, spare and jack in the trunk, passenger seat and sway bar still on the car, no ice used anywhere, both head lights installed, etc.

This was on the stock F1's with a 1.902 60 ft.

I'd say Cobra's love nice air. I mean it wasn't great air, but obviously a lot better than the 95+ days I had been running in, started out the night at 82 degrees, 22 % RH and 29.58 absolute barometer.

Car went 12.27, then 12.15, then 12.14 then 12.036. By then it was down to 71 degrees.

I made 1 last pass, I was either going 11.xx or gonna spin, it spun :rolleyes:

Darn, just .037 away...

Great times!:thumbsup: What was your best launching technique that worked? Some are saying to bring the rpms up to 3000-4000 and slip the clutch so that there is no bog and you keep the rpms up that way.

Highroller, where did you get that 170 thermostat? Did you confirm it's opening temp? Is it differnt than the one Haveight is calling a 160? Did you ever get that post thermo dyno pull? Shwew, lots of questions, if the thermostat is worth 10hp, hell even 5HP, there is my 11.9xx.

I have a Stant 170 that i purchased from JDM and yesterday i went to the dyno and picked up 4-5HP and 4-5Torque throughout the entire power band and my airfuel dropped by .2 also the entire power band.Matt has a hypertech 160(part#1011)in his car and i am switching to that soon because on my L i picked up 8 pounds of torque by switching to it and dropped the airfuel another .2 from the 170 when i did back to back comparisons between the two.I would suggest getting ahold of Terry at South Florida Pulleys he stocks these Hypertech thermostats!

No exhaust mods.... yet ;-)
I do like it quiet though,and feel if I could get another 20 HP without changing the exhaust, I would leave it quiet.

Congraulations on the times, especially without exhaust, that is awesome! The thermostat mod is one of the cheapest, and it really works to get power!:D

Between a New JDM chip, and my New Thermostat I gained 100ft. lbs. of trq at 3000 rpms, it's insane!

3.40" = 11-13lbs
3.20" = 13-14lbs
2.90" = 14-16lbs
2.80" = 16-18lbs

Or something like that? Are these even close?

I gotta say, I'm a little leary of runnin' the any of the 2.x pulley's. I'm afraid that'll be too much...at least over time.

Anyone? Anyone?

f4sfed: 3.65 = 8lbs stock!
L pulley 2.93 = 12-13lbs
2.80 = 14-15lbs
as far as i know these are more accurate numbers, maybe someone else can help better?
Leon
