So which one of these tires would work well with those rims?

I want a low profle tire but I dont want to worry about bending a rim. thanx

305 40 22

305 45 22

285 45 22

285 35 22

265 35 22

The 265 35 22 are cheaper so I would like to get those but can you tell me if you will be too skinny for Lightnings? thanx

no way with a 45 side wall, thats huge man, I would go with a 30-35 the width is up to you.. oh and 305 is way too wide.

I just went with this experiment too, I did 295-30/22 Michilen make them.

I went with 295-40-20 on my L. With 22's I would think a 40 its the absolute most you could pull off. Im thinking the 35 would be right.

just because you can mount them doesn't mean that it is smart.

actually theres alot of people running 305's on stockers, they do fit and theres no safety issues

I have used 295/30/22 in both a Pirelli and a Toyo. Now I have 265/35/22's Kumhos' up front and 285/35/22's out back in the BFG KDW's and I like this setup the best. The KDW's hook the best overall!
