I've never owned any other kind of car except for the Mustang. My first was an '87 4-banger convertible... It was originally my dads car, but after he bought his '53 ford, he handed it down to me. I think it was in the best condition out of all 87 LX's, as there was no rust and and had a beautiful black paintjob. Well I had that for 2 years and I then bought a 1998 GT. What a nice car that was. It never gave me any trouble at all the entire time I had it. I was originally looking for a 5 speed, but this particular one looked so nice, I just had to have it, even if it meant working my ass off to make the payments on it. Over last winter I put what little money I had into it making modifications (exhaust, pulleys gears), only to have it all destroyed a month later when a stupid bitch talking on her cell phone ran into the back of me going 50 MPH when I was stopped at a light. Fortunately I wasn't hurt. In the end, this turned out to be kind of a blessing, as I got a huge settlement out of it, which paid for my new car, and also paid a good part of my car loan. My new car is a 1998 Cobra. Although it has give me a little trouble (the antitheft system malfuntioning), I love it just as much as the GT. I've test drove the F-bodies, but it seems like they just are lacking something, and my friend's turned into a total rattletrap after 60K miles.
