What do you guys think my '92 5.0 LX Notch Auto is worth with 47k original miles? Car has no mods other than Flowmaster exhaust (sounds great) and a Sony "Xplode" CD player. I have the original window sticker showing it was purchased here in Tucson, and the original owner was older and had it for 15 years under his carport. This isn't a perfect show car as there are the occasional dings, but there is no rust and no paintwork. Car has a fresh Mobil 1 oil change, new Motorcraft wires, new Bosch platinum plugs, and a new power steering pump (old one didn't leak but it whined).

Flaws: tint on front two windows is starting to peel, small tear and small hole in seat, occasional dings/nicks in paint, chip in windshield, tachometer stays at 4k when car is running, and cruise control works intermittently.

Overall the car drives great and has smooth power and responsiveness. You don't see many of these original survivors around in this kind of shape. So, what's it worth?

Yeah, that's why I'm thinking of selling it. I really like rowing my own gears.

[IMO]Do a t-5 conversion and keep it. [/IMO]That is a clean notch, and they're getting near impossible to find in good shape. To answer your question, i think 6-8k would be possible. Yes the auto will hurt the price, but the gray interior should help to bring that back up a bit.

its worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it,........in the case of this car I can see some guys paying BIG money for a notch in this condition.

I looked into doing a T-5 swap, but I don't know if I want to shell out $1,200 for parts plus that much more at least for labor. I'm not that mechanically inclined to do it myself, and I don't want cheap shoddy work at a cut rate shop.

Where do you think the best place to list it would be? eBay, Craigslist, AutoTrader, SVTP?
