Car: '96 Cobra with '03 motor, 2.97 first gear T56 and 4.10s in the rear.
Specs: 420 rwhp, 410 lb-ft torque (stock pulleys)
Current tire/rim combo: 9" Cobra R rims with Brigestone portenza S02s.... 275x40x17 tires.
Thinking I need to go to 315s or better with 10.5" knock off Cobra R rims. (to match the current rims)
What is the best sticky street tire with reasonable tread life and good wet driveability. I only race once in a while, but do a fair amount of open tracking and distance cruising. In order, I care more about dry stickyness, high speed cruisability (Z rated or better), and wet road safety than treadlife.
Please post 60' times if possible and rear gear ratios.
