97 cobra fully built engine eagle stroked crank, Manley rods and pistons. Stock cams, worked heads. Accufab sb tb, innovators west 10 % od pulley, 1000cc injectors, 5/8 fuel line with inline pump. Billet rails. I'm running a vortech YSI. roughly 18psi on pump with a huge treadstone intercooler. Car is only making 540 rwhp. I do have stock manifolds with x pipe and flowmaster 44's though. Still think it should do better. Any suggestions?

The air isn't getting out as fast as it's getting in? Seems like at that kind of boost you should be running long tubes. But boost does not necessarily = air flow. Perhaps a freer flowing exhaust and better flowing intake (maybe different cams) could net you the same or more hp at less boost.

Definitely needs a less restrictive exhaust on it, you're choking it with all that air and very little room for it to go.
