Future shopping for wheels and came across the Axis Elite wheels for my 03 Cobra

I was able to find the Axis Elite in 19x9.5 @ 28.3lbs, the great thing is they have the 5x114.3 bolt pattern too

The only problem I've found with them is that they only come in 19s or 20s, I'm not sure if 19s are too big - I'm not a fan of big rims. I also read the bigger wheels will sacrifice performance which I'm also not a fan of.

Right now I'm running P275/40/ZR17s on the 10th Anniversary 17x9s and I was wondering where I can find a similar looking wheel that will allow me to run 315s (I heard 10.5" is a good width rim for them).

1) Are there any similar looking wheels that are substantially better?
2) Will 19s look 'too big'
3) How much of a performance loss will I actually experience? Will the front tires rub? Are they too heavy?
4) Will I have to switch to a 35 sidewall?
5) How wide of a tire can I run on 9.5" width?

The look I like is the 5-spoke black with machined face, it should compliment the tints that are soon to come:
