When switching out shifters, was there a black cup on the stocker?
I've had a triax & a pro 5.0 on my old GT's and had to pry off the black cup on the end of the stock shifter and snap it back on the new shifter. My question is, did you have the black cap or cup on yours? When I pulled off my stocker, it didnt have one and I just was wondering if the dealership forgot to put it back in after they performed warranty work on my trans? Or perhaps it was just in the trans and I couldnt see it when I put the MGW in?
