Where to put transponder?

I just glanced at the instructions for my new AMB Transponder I picked up from On-Track Performance. I have some time to do the work, but I won't be at a NASA or other event to see where everyone mounts these things. What's the easy answer?

I zip-tied mine to the front bumper cover.

I'm pretty remedial with all things electronic - did you just tap into the fuse box or can you tie into the bus under the hood?

We twist tied it to the frame rail on the 93. Anywhere is fine as long as it has a direct line of sight to the ground and isn't right next to a significant source of heat (i.e. headers).
