which one of these exhaust manifolds is better

One came on the Lincoln engine and the other came off my cobra.

Better as a stock replacement or performance wise??

The Mark 8 manifolds have difference mid-pipe flanges, so they wont work with a Mustang setup.

of the 2 which is a better one. One is cast iron and the other is welded stainless. Both seem to be able to bolt up to my current exhaust.

well since I am at a stand still till my Flywheel comes in. Got to ask, is it worth it to mess with taking off the EGR system? My car would be a daily driver and maybe 1st a year road open track day car. I dont want any drive ablity issues if I pull that stuff off.
Read a few post on doing it, seems simple but not sure of the fine points. Since my engine is setting on a stand I can get to EVERYTHING easy.

I would leave the egr on. I'm in the process of putting mine back on because I've had nothing but problems since I removed it
