which plugs, thermo and tuner

ok just pulled the blower off today as seen in my other post i need to know what the best plugs and thermostat to run with a ported eaton only mods are a 6lber and a cai

I think stock thermo is 180* I know alot of guys go with a 160*

As for tuner IMO the handhelds are better than a chip, although by asking which tuner I think you mean a Predator or SCT Excal II. I have a Predator but it seems alot of guys are going with the Excal II.

I think both are great unless you meant which dyno tuner then I dunno although Id go with Amazon.

NGK TR6's for plugs, I ran a 160 Stat because im in florida and i will never see the cold temps that you will being up north. So if I were you i wold stay with the 180. The handheld tuner should be considered by which one your tuner knows best.

im gonna try to tune it myself with the help of you guys of course do you guys think a 170 would be ok

ur in PA.. i stick with 180.. i live in TN and i am still using 180 thermo., but i am using BR7 plugs.. which is colder then TR6..

also, ur real best bet is to take ur truck to a real tuner to have them tune it.. doing it by urself will risk of blowing it up
